Default RPD adapters 5/8x24

We have RPD adapters available from our latest production run. We are going to do a sale for these adapters at a special price. The adapters will convert your original RPD threads to the common 5/8x24 threads. This will allow you to mount your .30 suppressor on your RPD! The adapters are CNC manufactured from 440c Stainless Steel and were done in high temp black cerakote. 3/4 wrench flats are machined into the adapters and the OD is the same profile as the RPD Barrel.

Retail Price to the general public is $71.00 + shipping.

Member Special $64each.
Shipping is $4. CC+3%

I want an RPD. If you make one for an RPK, please let me know.

Funnest MG I've fired. Light and controllable, and the actual firing isn't MG42 violent. It's like petting a puppy.

The only RPD I fired was a semiauto, with a BS kydex wrap around the pistol grip to make it "featureless" for California, limited to 10rd belts, or they become assault belts. All that didn't make it less than fun. The fact that I'd broken my jaw on the right side two days prior and hadn't been to a doctor yet, mated with a decent cheek weld on a wood stock, with what recoil there is...THAT made shooting the thing one of the most miserable experiences of my life. First firearm I've ever said "I'm sorry dude, I can't shoot these rounds, have fun."

I got to fire an FA RPD once, it was surprisingly controllable. Just had to bring the support arm vertical directly beneath the HG and push forward on the sling. I think the RPD is a damn fine design. If it had a quick-change barrel it might even still be in use.

Here is my (also awesome looking) RPD from Project Guns, sadly it is semi-auto.

And here it is on an MG42-AA tripod with SAW adapter and Israeli 'sack.

My dream is to someday run some sort of rifle competition with it, just to see the look on peoples faces!

Can you show us a pic of how your tripod is mounted to the gun?

Sure. This is the best picture I have at the moment.

It is an RPD to MG3-AA tripod adapter made by BeltFedShooters. I got it off of GunJoker for ~$175 or so, IIRC. I think the seller went by 50BMGdude or something like that. It attaches to the RPD just like a standard drum. It features a 'sack hanger that is compatible with SAW type pouches. I just spent 20 minutes on the BeltFedShooters site looking for this adapter and didn't find it anywhere. Maybe they are no longer being made? (They do make some other pretty cool mount adapters, though.)

BTW, I also have an adapter which replaces the drum hanger and allows SAW pouches to be mounted to the gun. The 50 round "nutsacks" allow me to get pretty close to the ground when prone, which I can't do with the usual drum due to the bipod being shortened to accommodate the 16" barrel.

Oh, and I would totally be down for a thread adapter but luckily I had the foresight to have Stan thread the barrel to 5/8x24 for suppressor use. Now I just need a .30 can!

Bump for video of suppressed RPD action?

I will have to get some next time I'm out to the range. It just started snowing again an hour ago after raining an inch, no range time in the near future.
