Not sure if this is the one you are referring to, but it's dated last month.

We have a goal of producing videos for the various new products this summer. Unfortunately things are incredibly busy and that is hard to find time for. I think in the last 7-10 days the Recce 5 and 7 mod 3 suppressors, the AR-SOB (buffer), the Griffin MRE (receiver extension), and SN-ACH (charging handle) have been released or have reached the point they can be released. The Mod 3 Recces have shipped to distributors. The SDQD lineup has underwent a revision and those cans are being released next week. Design, manufacturing, and sales people are working 60-80 hours a week to make this stuff happen.

Videos will happen. When is something I can't really answer. There was a press release on Soldier Systems: http://soldiersystems.net/2015/06/26...ressor-series/

That covers most of the information. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

It's cool, I do understand you and your team work your asses off. I'm close to buying a can and then I seen the mod 3 stuff on instagram and got excited to get as much info as I could. Video is just a bonus.

The info is mostly published. The suppressor is stronger, more durable, lighter, performs better in 5.56mm and 300BLK applications, and has a flash suppressor for enhanced flash signature reduction. The minimalist brake is now included for a 19.6 ounce system weight in a mounted configuration. The mod 3 provides flagship like 132DB performance in 5.56mm and ~123DB 300 BLK subsonic performance.

The Recce 7 it replaced would outperform the other cans in class (Saker 762, SDN6, AAC SR7, Surefire 762K). People were already running those successfully on 300 win mag rifles. I've shot 1/3MOA groups with the mod 2 cans. So this reflects an improvement to an already excellent suppressor.

Whether a person has a mod 2 or 3 they have a great suppressor.

This was the Mod 3, Griffin brought it down for us to test before they were released.

I think the Mod2 has a flat front cap and the Mod3 has a triangular mini flash hider thingy (as seen in pic in above post)

Nailed it. Thanks.

I was deciding between the AAC 762SD, Sandman S, Surge, Omega, and Recce 7.

Weights and lengths:
AAC 762SD: 9", 26+oz
Surge: 9", 25+oz
Omega: 8", 21+oz
Sandman S: <7", 20+oz
Recce 7: 7.5", 19+oz

All of them are pigs, but the Recce 7 was the lightest so I chose it. It is likely just due to the "minimalist brake", which works for me. I had read that the Omega is extremely light, but she's a big, heavy bitch. The rube goldberg assembly didn't impress either.

Those make me feel better about my form 1's fat ass. Of course they're probably using stainless and I used Ti but still.

I like Griffin's stuff I think you'll be happy with your purchase.
