Default We just got more cans in for recoring.....

We got in 2 Shooters Depot cans in for recore.

I will say this much.....Red Jacket uses better baffles!

Anyone interested in seeing the pics of the current core?

Here they are, in all their glory.

Several baffles are collapsed, multiple aluminum spacers are collapsed and lots of baffle strikes.

This particular can has been back to SD a number of times and finally the owner gave up on it and is getting a real core for it.

Did you notice all the rust and corrosion?

I didn't post the pic of the tube but its a funky diameter, like 1.42"

The tube in the pic is the blast chamber which is pretty damaged since its raw aluminum.

As far as I can tell there are 2 different type metals used in the disc baffle things.

Wall thickness of the raw aluminum spacers are dramatically inconsistent. One spacer measures .1" another .03" wall.

The bent discs are the best, the owner says he was firing it and heard a "maraca" and took it off and all the pieces fell out.

I will post pics of the Shooters Depot Integral Ruger in the next couple days, its pretty sad as well! The owner said that it was louder than a Walther P22 with a YHM Mite!

Ohhhhhhh. So they were aluminum in a 308 can and the pressure curb stomped them?
